Which bitrate should I pick?
Bitrate sets how much data each second of MP3 gets. A higher bitrate sounds better and makes a bigger file.
Use 96 or 128 kbps for podcasts, voice notes and audiobooks. An hour of speech at 128 kbps comes to about 58 MB. Use 192 kbps for everyday music listening. Use 256 or 320 kbps when the MP3 will be your only copy of a recording, or when you might edit it later.
